Community Scholarship

Description of Award: The Geneva Academic Foundation will award to two seniors at Geneva Community High School.

Amount of Award: The Geneva Academic Foundation. Community Scholarship is worth (2) $500 scholarships- Each year, one $500 scholarship will be awarded to a male student and one $500 scholarship will be awarded to a female student who graduated from Geneva Community High School. The award will be sent directly to the community college or college/university of each scholarship winner.

 
Eligibility: Any graduating senior at Geneva Community High School who intends to pursue future education at a two or four year post-secondary institution. Students must be engaged in extra curricular activities and provide a minimum of 50 community service hours for each year at the high school. Students should also have at least 3.0 or higher grade point average.

Selection Method: Selection criteria will emphasize academic achievement and significant community service. Geneva Academic Foundation members will select two scholarship recipients with an advisory group of GHS faculty and staff.  Please contact your guidance office if you are interested in applying.
